Welcome to truePARIAH. Basically, it’s a fansite for the “Mahjong Legend Akagi” anime (referred to from this point on as Akagi). There seems to be a lack of English Akagi sites, so here’s one to fill the void. This is an info site for the anime, with some stuff on the manga as well, courtesy of sukreih. Have a look around if you like. The various sections are pretty self-explanatory, but here’s a quick rundown:

Well, Buraiden Gai Volume 1 Chapter 2 is done! This is the last time I’ll post non-Akagi-related ZZMP news on this page, promise! The next time I update this page, it’ll be about Akagi, dammit. ZZMP stuff will be on the ZZMP website.

Guess what, Buraiden Gai Volume 1 Chapter 1 is done! We’re releasing it under the name “ZawaZawa Manga Project”, and our scanlation team of two has its own website over here.

Oh yeah, I should include something Akagi-related. Okay, here’s another Akagi AMV. It uses the second Death Note OP!

I got off my lazy ass and got the synopsis for Episode 18 done! Where have I been for the last month? Three words: JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure. And then I found this. ‘Nuff said. Blame sukreih for showing this to me.

I’ve also been working on scanlations for Buraiden Gai. It’s a “short” (5 volume) series about a kid with an Akagi-like personality who gets in a whole lot of trouble, without the Mahjong. Learning how to edit as I go, so it’ll be a while.

Synopsis for Episode 15 is complete! Let’s see if I can get one done each week. With any luck, I’ll finish these things in time for a possible May project. Something that involves a certain manga. Maybe.

In other news, another Fukumoto anime is coming out this fall!

Synopsis for Episode 14 is done, and no, it’s not an April Fool’s joke. Might try that next year. Anyway, I’m finally starting to write up the Washizu Arc! Good times, good times.
